Mathew Larade was born and raised in Coxheath, Cape Breton, and moved back home from PEI after Hurricane Fiona destroyed parts of Charlottetown in 2022. Since then, Mathew has been active in the local community and volunteering at the Sydney Mines food bank while looking for work and building up his teaching portfolio. Mathew has been working and playing around computers most of his life, and has worked in teaching for most of his career. From productivity and organization, to gaming and leisure, to applied statistics and machine learning, Mathew has studied, taught, and applied a great deal of computer knowledge across his career, and would like to share some of it with you at one of his upcoming courses.
Mat Larade is a CompTIA A+ Certified IT Technician with a decade's experience working in and around computers professionally. Mat has instructed courses and labs at a University level, and helped to spearhead development of the Machine Learning curriculum for Canada's Digital Research Alliance. He is a certified Software Carpentries instructor and has experience fixing websites, GPU pipeplines, and all manner of computer runtime_error, missing_dll or Kernel panic

Most of our courses are around one to two hours in length, however, we generally book for three hours to allow time for questions about the topic and discussion of other technical problems.
Not yet, but we aim to offer more educational materials on YouTube soon and are debating working on offering Educational Twitch Streams in the near future.
We have no plans to offer training via Zoom or any other forms of online narrowcasting in the future. We do not believe online teaching is an appropriate way to teach someone the fundamentals of computer literacy.
